  We are three people who saw a need and wanted to help make a difference. We aren’t celebrities or experts who have studied Africa for years. We are just like you! STAFF: Sheryl Coyne-Batson: President and Co-Founder of Ten for 10: Water for Africa Sheryl graduated from the University of Texas-Dallas with a B.A. in Political Science. It was there that she initially became interested in Sub-Saharan Africa. That interest, along with seeing the film FLOW: For Love of Water, inspired her to start researching realistic ways to help provide clean drinking water to people in that region of the world. Sheryl currently works full-time for a non-profit in Plano, TX. Bryan Batson: Co-founder, Treasurer, and the Food and Wine Guy of Ten for 10: Water for Africa A resident of Dallas, where he met his fantastic wife, he considers himself a Texan come home and has volunteered with the YMCA, the Family Place, Bryan’s House, and the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Bryan earned his B.A. from the Meadows School and his B.B.A. and M.B.A. from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. Living and traveling across the globe from early on in life gave him familiarity with many cultures and an appreciation of foreign cuisines. A self-taught cook who comes from a long line of professional and home chefs, Bryan basically grew up in the kitchen. He brings business expertise and a passion for food and fun to Ten for 10: Water for Africa. Pamela Bordlee: Co-Founder, and Creative Director of Ten for 10: Water for Africa Pam is originally from New Orleans, but has resided in Dallas for almost 12 years. She has a passion for doing things that can help others. She has volunteered at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for children and currently volunteers at Children's Medical Center of Dallas. Pam is also a camp counselor at Camp Esperanza, a summer camp dedicated to children with cancer, sponsored by Children's Medical Center. Her interests include travel, working with children, discovering great wine, painting and graphic design. Pam works full time in IT Consulting in Dallas, TX.
